Bay girls turn blue for the boys

The shade of pink Hastings has taken on of late made way for blue yesterday as the staff at Bannister and von Dadelszen dressed for the occasion known as Blue Friday.

Alison Donovan (front) and (back, from left) Sonya Walford, Liz Rive, Anna Neil, Sue Patchett and Gaye Winiata served up blue iced cupcakes for morning tea to raise funds for prostate cancer.

The city will soon turn pink again for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
