Burn mum still serious
Nuhaka burn victim Tia Ropitini, is still recovering in the intensive care unit at Middlemore Hospital. Her condition today was described as serious.
The 39-year-old mother received burns to 70 per cent of her body nine days ago when an oven exploded as she was putting a cake into it, destroying the house.
