Driver runs from crash
Hastings police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a car accident on Te Mata Peak Rd yesterday at 8pm.
A BMW and Toyota collided on a tight bend uphill of the Te Mata Trust Park gates in the bush-clad section of the road before Peak House Restaurant.
One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries and later discharged. Police said they had good information regarding the identity of the missing driver.
