I think this is one for the ladies.
Your Sister's Sister is about relationships and their complex nature.
With only three characters featured, we are asked to make sense of the interwoven relationships through dialogue.
Jack (Mark Duplass) is struggling through a rough patch after the death of his brother.
His best mate, Iris (Emily Blunt), suggests he seeks a little solitude at her family's remote island cabin.
On arrival at the retreat he discovers Iris' sister, Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt), has also sought the serenity of the cabin to get over the break-up of her long-term relationship.
What starts as an awkward encounter, ends as a sexual encounter after a few too many shared drinks.
The arrival of Iris the following morning creates a tension no one wants to be part of.
Jack and Hannah think it's best if she doesn't know what went on.
Matters are further complicated when Iris expresses her love for Jack and Hannah announces she wants to have a baby - and Jack may just have been designated as the father.
Iris and Hannah's close relationship disintegrates quickly when the news of the encounter is shared and Jack flees.
Only time and space will bring a solution to the myriad problems created by that night.
As mentioned, I think I was the wrong sex to watch this story but it was nonetheless entertaining.
