Elderly woman killed In Church Road accident

A crash that killed an elderly woman in Taradale on Tuesday afternoon is being investigated by the Serious Crash Unit.

The woman was crossing Church Road when she was struck by a car. Witnesses said the driver was also an older woman.

The woman died at the scene and the driver received no injuries.

Senior Constable Cory Ubels from the Serious Crash Unit said the investigation was continuing.
