Just like the movie City of Angels where the angels gather together to watch the sunrise and listen to the music in the dawn of the new day, holiday makers at Mahia Beach gather together each evening to say goodbye to the sun as it sinks into the sea and ends another perfect day.

Since before New Years eve Mahia has enjoyed hot balmy days which have been ending with some lovely sunsets.

All the holiday makers gather to enjoy the spectacle that completes each day with a burst of gold and red and lifts the spirits of all who watch as the sun sets.
