Food, wine and pleas for Christchurch earthquake victims

Four Hawke's Bay wineries have joined together to offer an evening of fine food and wines as well as an occasion to raise money for the Red Cross Christchurch earthquake appeal.

Elephant Hill, Craggy Range, Black Barn and Vidals have all put together a selection of wines, as well as the culinary prowess of their individual executive chefs, for the Wineries of Hawke's Bay Christchurch Appeal Dinner and Auction.

The evening will feature Frizzell bubbles and canapes, followed by a four course meal prepared by the four executive chefs, with each course matched with Hawke's Bay wines.

The evening will be interspersed with auctions featuring the region's flagship wines and artwork.

All proceeds will go to the Red Cross appeal.

The event will take place from 6pm on Sunday, March 20 at Terrior at Craggy Range.
