The Rose and Shamrock in Havelock North had provided marquees in anticipation of their emerald guests, with up to 110 people packing the bar at once, said security guard Brian Harmer. Among them were Kate McKinnon, Nathan Pipi, and Jessica Pipi (pictured)

"We're playing a lot of Irish music and everybody has just been really happy and drinking," he said.
