Hastings faces painted by film artist
It might be traditionally a kid's joy, but there were plenty of adults keen to have their faces painted by visiting Wellington artist Hayley Marlow.
Fab Art body painters, including multi-award winner and special effects make up expert Hayley Marlow, delighted both adults and children in Napier and Hastings.
The artists were doing free painting at Amcal Pharmacy Hastings and Marewa Unichem, Napier on Saturday.
Fab Art creator Jakkii Goody said there were queues outside Marewa Unichem before the team even arrived.
"Face painting lets kids run wild with their imagination, and they can be anything they want for the day."
Ms Marlow, currently working for Weta on The Hobbit movie, was the centre of attention.
"Hayley draws a crowd whenever she has a paint brush in hand, and people love to watch her develop her creations," Ms Goody said.
