Hawke's Bay shearer honoured

Hawke's Bay shearer Cam Ferguson will be one of 11 world champions honoured at the 20th national Maori Sports Awards in Auckland on December 4.

World Cup soccer hero Winston Reid and New Zealand Maori and All Black rugby winger Hosea Gear are among the favourites for the senior sportsman award and Commonwealth Games squash gold medallist Joelle King is the favourite for the senior sportswoman award.
