New Zealand representatives Tom Jenkins and Andrew Potter were among Hawke's Bay's winners at last weekend's Cambridge Town Cup regatta at Lake Karapiro.

They convincingly won their under-18 pair final as their club completed a strong rehearsal for the February 14-18 nationals at the same venue. Bay rowers qualified for 24 A finals out of 30 and took six firsts, six seconds and a third.

Both novice boys' coxed eights made A finals and came first and fifth. Russell Dodd and Max Williams won the men's novice double scull final.

Ashlea Quirk, Tessa Gregory-Hunt, Hannah MacKlow, Ariana Williams and cox Migoyan Goodley were second in their club four final. Laura Coventry was second in the U18 single. Tristan Gregory-Hunt was second in his U17 single final and Lillie Brownlie and Lana Davison second in their women's senior double final.
