Moving to Bay brings good luck
A recent arrival to Hawke's Bay won $200,000 on Saturday night's live Lotto draw.
Liz from Havelock North spun the winning wheel on behalf of her family syndicate as her father Evan, who has been buying the family ticket for years, was unable to travel to Wellington.
She recently moved to Havelock North with her husband and father where they are enjoying the sunshine and the opportunities for walking, cycling and gardening.
As part of the Winning Wheel prize package, Liz enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the Intercontinental Hotel in Wellington and shopping with a stylist for an outfit to wear on the live draw. She was supported on the live draw by her two adult children, who live in Wellington.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, through a serial number on their ticket.
