One dead after clash in Flaxmere
A man is dead after a violent clash in Flaxmere on Saturday afternoon.
Ephrame Ronald Waihape, 40, was found unconscious in the driveway of a house in Whitby Cres, Flaxmere on Saturday night. He was unable to be revived.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave de Lange of Hawke's Bay CIB said police were awaiting the results of a post mortem on the man.
There were two other people at the house at the time of the man's death and police were not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
No arrests have been made at this point.
