Promote Art Deco Weekend on YouTube and win

A check on YouTube for Geon Art Deco Weekend footage reveals two or three moving moments - but the prospect of making a quick $500 should swell the Deco sites.

Geon Print and Communications Central region general manager, Neville Smith, said the company had put together the cash prize for the YouTube video about the great weekend which receives the most hits over a one-month period.

"It will promote the weekend and the region hugely," Mr Smith said.

The footage of events would be seen all over the world through the internet.

"A lot of people will see them."

Video footage of the festival weekend can be filmed from today - with the viewing hits set to be logged between February 23 and March 23.

Mr Smith said for videos to qualify for the cash they had to be headed "Geon Art Deco Weekend".

He said with so many diverse events taking place there was "plenty of potential" for some colourful videos to be created.
