Quad biker hurt
A 46-year-old male farm worker suffered a dislocated compound fracture to his ankle while riding a quad bike near Wairoa yesterday.
After being treated at the Ruakituri Valley scene just after 9.30am by St John Ambulance Service staff he was flown by Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter to Hawke's Bay Hospital, Hastings, for further treatment.
