Rugby: Suspended Tameifuna to miss final
Hawke's Bay Magpies rugby prop Ben Tameifuna has been suspended for one week for his high tackle on Ryan Kankowski during the Chiefs' Super Rugby final win over the Sharks on Saturday night.
Tameifuna pleaded guilty to making a dangerous tackle on the No 8 in the 37-6 win at Waikato Stadium. He will miss his Hastings Rugby and Sports' team's Maddison Trophy final against Havelock North at Napier's McLean Park on Saturday.
