Tararua council seeks feedback on services

More than 400 Tararua district residents will soon have the chance to tell the district council how they feel about services in this year's phone survey.

Tararua District Council's 2011 Communitrak Survey, conducted every three years, is an independent phone survey asking 450 residents questions about the council.

The survey aimed to increase understanding of public perceptions of services, facilities and representation.

Telephone interviews would be conducted between Friday, April 28 and Sunday, May 8 during weekday evenings and all day on weekends.

Understanding residents' opinions and needs would allow the council to be more responsive in the future.
