Tennis: Marina Erakovic earns breakthrough victory in US

New Zealand womens tennis number 1 Marina Erakovic has earned a breakthrough victory in the second round of the Bank of the West Classic at Stanford University in the United States.

She beat Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, the tournament's top seed, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the second round.

Erakovic now advances to the quarter finals.
