Winds shouldn't knock Bay around

Northwest gale-force winds are tipped for Hawke's Bay tomorrow, but unlike in Wellington and Wairarapa, shouldn't be severe.

The Metservice's Micky Malivuk said a front would move over the North Island tomorrow, with northwesterlies ahead of it and westerlies following. If it brought rain it was likely to be brief.

Sunday would "pretty much" be a fine day.
