Young kart racers blossom
The action was fast and furious at the 45th edition of the annual Blossom Festival Sprint Event, organised by Kart Sport Hawke's Bay.
The meeting, called "Blossom 45" was held at the Roy's Hill kart racing track near Fernhill, Hastings, over the weekend.
The two-day racing event offers a chance for young drivers to show their skills on the course. The classes included Cadet, Junior Restricted 100cc Yamaha, Junior 100cc Yamaha, Clubsport 120, 100cc Yamaha Light, 100cc Yamaha Heavy, 125cc Rotax Max Light and Open.
